The Ardavany Approach helps actors/directors overcome their fears and connect to their power and creativity. It blends cold reading, scene study, interactive exercises, on-camera experience, and other tools to help the actor/director:
• Deeply understand their character.
• Establish a clear, trusted connection with their imagination.
• Understand the elements that make up action.
• Ace the audition and get the job.
• Master their relationship with the camera.
• Inspire and impact their audience.
• Continuously enrich their performance.
Make it difficult for the industry to say “No”. Fear and doubt and a tendency to not deliver your best work, are all symptoms of improper preparation. Whether you’re on the set or in an audition, a successful experience requires solid preparation.
I have developed a core of talented actors and I have been working diligently to help actors transition from theatre, discovereding new approaches to teaching the subtleties of acting on camera. All of the known acting techniques are ninetieth/ early twentieth century methods for the stage, not applicable here in the on camera world we live in.
The Approach has been specifically tailored for an actor who wants to add years of on camera experience to his craft. Big stars have the luxury of being on camera for many hours and through the analysis of their work, discover the secretes to acting on camera. Many of us don’t have the opportunity to do this, so we must find another way. “The Ardavany Approach” is that way and will send you onto the movie set with what look like twenty years of experience, giving you the confidence to do your best work.
We need to survive in a world of media, a world with increasingly diverse demands on the actor. A more subtle and specific understanding is required to be successful these days, and with big money in film and television the competition is tough. Give yourself the satisfaction of getting the job and at the very least, know you have made their decision difficult.
Only a handful of actors have taken advantage of “The Ardavny Approach”. The actors who have applied the new technique have started working and haven’t looked back. For those that are ready the results can be astounding. For those starting off, work as an actor can be just several months away.
We understand the industry and your need to succeed. Getting the job can be frustrating so raise your level of play, elevate your standards and book the job.
